Cams father died a year ago when he was run down in a freak car accident, and now the teen has to shoulder the burdens of increased responsibility for his mom and younger sister. What he doesnt count on adding to his plate? The man who struck his father coming back into their lives. Even worse, the man seems to be stalking Cams family, showing up at his job, at his sisters elementary school, and elsewhere around townbut is it all in Cams head? Compact, dialogue-driven writing keeps the atmosphere tense as Cam races toward a confrontation with his fathers killer. What is really at stake, though, is coming to terms with a father, though much missed, who was emotionally detached from the family even while alive.
